Christian Baudon studied engineering at ESME, holds a degree from ESSEC business school and is an accredited actuary with the Institut d'Actuaires Français (IAF). He joined the Group in 1988 as Commercial Director at GMF Vie.

He became General Manager of GMF Vie in 1991 and then Director of the Claims Department at GMF Assurances in 1994.

In 2003, Christian Baudon was appointed General Manager of Azur Assurances and then General Manager of MMA in 2006.

He was made General Manager of Covéa Coopérations in 2012 and then Chief Group Insurance Officer in 2013.
