GMF, assuredly human

For more than 85 years, true to its mutualist commitments, GMF has been supporting public service employees who work every day to make society more human.

Founded in 1934 by civil servants for civil servants, GMF has always maintained close ties with public servants.

It shares their common values of solidarity and responsibility, and supports them in their personal and professional lives, providing personal and property insurance, savings and life insurance, health and pension provision, assistance, legal protection solutions, etc. This long-term commitment has enabled GMF to become the leading insurer of public service employees.

In 2016, building on the solid foundations of its mutualist origins, GMF created Unéopôle with Unéo and MGP, the first mutualist social protection hub dedicated to the “Defence and Security” community.

Being strongly committed to a collective approach, GMF supports many solidarity actions and initiatives of public service staff and people who dedicate their lives to helping others.
