Travelling insurance consultant
The travelling consultant makes contact with customers and prospective customers and ensures that their needs are served. He or she manages a portfolio of customers and proposes and sells a range of insurance services and contracts.
You sell contracts to individual and business customers and to prospective customers. This involves meeting and contacting members and prospective customers, and understanding, analysing and proposing contracts that are suitable for their needs.
You manage a portfolio of agency customers and regularly review contracts, for example adjusting the rate. You provide feedback on the market and on the competition to the marketing and technical units.
